Gentle Computer Support :: Cost
Basic Rates:
In-Home Computer Tutoring: $30.00 per Hour
For Citizens 65 or Better: $20.00 per Hour
Travel is assessed only for students living outside of the Portland Metro area.
The basic rate covers most work associated with providing computer help, including some follow-up support such as writen instructions for tasks covered in our lessons.
Included in the hourly rate is an additional 30 minutes of email or telephone support per session for existing students. Additional email or telephone support is assesed at the above rates. However, as face-to-face instruction is a much more effective - and a much more time-effective - teaching tool, I encourage students to reserve email and phone support for a last resort.
